Students Front
Tamkeen’s student front is activating Muslims political and religious engagement, through revolutionizing campus organizations to be more Islamic and politically refined. We provide Muslim students with the knowledge to ground their on-campus activism in Islam, the tools to organize themselves, and the strategies to take action as our deen calls us to.
Grassroots Front
The Grassroots Front starts from a simple truth: what we need is not beyond our reach- it’s waiting. In our people. In our hands. In what we build together. In a world shaped by materialism and injustice, we turn to the Qur’an as our guide. We come together to support Muslims who’ve been targeted for their convictions, build principled alternatives, raise collective consciousness, and respond to harm with care and structure. The Grassroots Front is where our ummah moves from witnessing injustice to confronting it- through the systems we commit to building within our own communities. We build because we believe- because faith calls us to act, not just endure, and because our communities deserve systems rooted in dignity, purpose, and the readiness to stand firm against injustice.
Mosques Front
There is no future for the Ummah without empowering its Masajid and recentering the Muslim community around the Masjid. The Mosques Front aims to reimagine the Masjid as the holistic center of the Muslim community’s power in all of its facets, from political power to economic and social power. Our team will work with Masajid to build their community capacity through building out resources, cultivating relationships, and providing guidance on technical topics most Masajid are not equipped to tackle.
Education Front
Principled activism necessitates a deep awareness and commitment to our principles. The Education Front aims to equip the Muslim with the tools necessary to guide our action with Islamic grounding. Our team will produce content broadly addressing how to: reclaim our Islamic reference point, desecularize our thought, and empower our communities to creatively envision and coordinate collaborative action grounded in our Islamic principles.
Legal Action Front
The Legal Action Front’s mission is to build a robust, nationwide network of Muslim attorneys committed to serving the Muslim community across a broad spectrum of “controversial” legal issues facing Muslims on the front lines of the fight for justice and liberation. Our team will support those attorneys through comprehensive resources, including guides, legal research, templates, and advisory support. This will empower our community to pursue immediate and proactive legal action against both private and public entities.
